Chief Minister Hemant Soren interacts with Bloomberg Asia-Pacific Media in Davos

Davos /Ranchi:  On the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos, Chief Minister Mr. Hemant Soren held a detailed interaction with Ms. Sunita Rajan, Managing Director, Bloomberg Asia-Pacific, a leading international media organization. During the interaction, the Chief Minister outlined the objective of Jharkhand’s participation at Davos, the state’s key priorities, and its long-term development vision for the next 25 years.

The Chief Minister stated that Jharkhand, as a young state, has come to Davos for the first time with confidence in its capabilities, opportunities, and a clear vision for the future. He emphasized that Jharkhand is no longer limited to a mineral-based economy, but is steadily emerging as a state focused on green industrial development, critical minerals, clean energy, human resource development, and inclusive economic growth.

During the discussions, the Chief Minister further highlighted that the Government of Jharkhand is working towards a balanced, sustainable, and employment-oriented development model for the coming 25 years, where global investments, technology transfer, and institutional partnerships will play a crucial role.

Representatives from Bloomberg Asia-Pacific informed that Bloomberg will be organizing a Global Special Roundtable in India in October this year. The high-level event is expected to bring together CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, global industry leaders, policymakers, and several eminent personalities from diverse fields, including the former Mayor of New York. Ms. Sunita Rajan, Managing Director, Bloomberg Asia-Pacific, formally invited Chief Minister Mr.Hemant Soren to participate in the proposed roundtable and expressed keen interest in showcasing Jharkhand’s development agenda and emerging opportunities before global leadership.
