Ranchi - Jharkhand Minister Hafizul Ansari was admitted to Paras Hospital in Ranchi on Thursday after his health suddenly deteriorated. He had earlier arrived at the Assembly to participate in the Monsoon Session, but was rushed directly from there to the hospital when his condition worsened.
Doctors have stated that his condition is currently stable, though he is under close observation. Ansari had undergone open-heart surgery at Vedanta Hospital in Delhi in July, and doctors had advised him to avoid public events for some time. Because of this, he was unable to attend Independence Day flag-hoisting programmes earlier this month.
Following the news of his hospitalization, several well-wishers and political colleagues reached Paras Hospital to meet him.
