JPSC Civil Services Mains Result Declared, 864 Candidates Qualify

Ranchi: The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has announced the results of the 2023 Civil Services Mains Examination, with 864 candidates clearing the exam. The result brings much-needed relief to thousands of aspirants who had been waiting anxiously for months.

The results were released on Tuesday, following mounting pressure from candidates. In recent weeks, several aspirants had staged a hunger strike outside the JPSC office, demanding the immediate release of results. A delegation also met the Governor, who assured them of swift action after a discussion with the JPSC chairman. Acting on that assurance, the commission has now published the mains results and is expected to announce the interview schedule and final selection process shortly.

The JPSC Civil Services Examination (Combined 11th to 13th) was conducted to fill 342 posts. The preliminary exam took place on March 17, 2024, and its results were declared on April 22, with 7,011 candidates qualifying for the mains. The mains examination was held from June 22 to 24, 2024.
