IIM Ranchi sees record-breaking campus placements with highest-ever package of ?50.39 lakh

Ranchi: This year has been remarkable for the students of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi. In the campus placements for the 2023-2025 academic session, students have been offered some of the best packages to date. A student from IIM Ranchi received the highest-ever package of ?50.39 lakh per annum, setting a new record. Last year, the highest package offered was ?37 lakh.

The placement report was released by IIM Ranchi's Dean of Academics, Prof. Tanushree Dutta, Head of Corporate Relations, Prof. Rajeev Verma, and former President, Prof. Varun Alembilassery. They shared that both domestic and international companies participated in the placements. A total of 96 companies hired students across all three programs—MBA, MBA-HR, and MBA-BA. The participation of domestic and international companies was almost equal.

This year, there was a 33% increase in the packages offered by domestic companies. The average package for the top 10% of students saw a 7.7% increase compared to last year, while the top 25% students received 6.6% more in their average annual packages.

The Corporate Relations team at IIM Ranchi also reached out to 110 new companies this year. Senior officials from 89 companies guided students through leadership talks, and 119 companies provided virtual live projects, giving students valuable industry exposure and a deeper understanding of their fields.
