15 officers of Jharkhand Police to be promoted to IG and DIG next month

Ranchi:  15 IPS officers of Jharkhand Police will get a promotion next month. In which five IPS of 2006 batch will get promotion to IG rank, one of 2009 batch and nine IPS of 2010 batch will get promotion to DIG rank.

Preparations are being made in the Home Jail and Disaster Management Department regarding this. These five IPS of 2006 batch will get promotion to IG rank – A Vijaya Lakshmi, Narendra Kumar Singh, Shailendra Kumar Singh, Sudarshan Prasad Mandal, Michael Raj S.

10 IPS of the 2009 and 2010 batch will get promotions in DIG rank – Sanjeev Kumar, Surendra Kumar Jha, Manoj Ratan Chaute, Karthik S, YS Ramesh, Shailendra Kumar Barnwal, Dhananjay Kumar Singh, Ashwini Kumar Sinha, Naushad Alam Ansari, Sandhya Rani Mehta.

Despite the increase in the number of SP rank officers in Jharkhand, 11 posts of SP level are still vacant and in-charge. Yesterday, 24 DSP rank officers got promoted to SP rank. After that, the number of SP rank officers in Jharkhand increased to 90. Out of which 18 are receiving training. Eight are on the post of ASP and 11 are on central deputation.
