Ranchi: On Early Monday Morning 19th Jharkhand Armed Police (JAP) Sports Meet was inaugurated at JAP-I ground in Ranchi on April 24, 2023.
Armed Police personnel from JAP-I, II and X will participate in this tournament.
Women Police personnel are also part of this tournament.
All Sports events will be organised at Mega Sports Complex, Khelgaon in Hotwar in Ranchi from Monday to Friday.
Events will be on Archery, Shooting, Taekwondo, Wushu etc.
The Winners of 19th Jharkhand Armed Police (JAP) sports meet will be selected to State level competition and National Games.
Deputy Inspector General of Jharkhand Police (DIG) Sunil Bhaskar was the chief guest at the opening ceremony.
DIG Bhaskar along with senior Police officials released balloons and pigeons during the inauguration ceremony.
DIG Bhaskar addressed Police officials and personnel on this occasion, he said, "Sports develops the personality of a man."
Today, there is a need for all-round development with inclusive education, he added.
"Sports develops the Character of a person," he said.
DIG Sunil Bhaskar extended his warm wishes to all participants.
