CM congratulates singer Megha for her song on daughters

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has congratulated noted singer Megha Shriram Dalton for her song on daughters. Megha ho has become famous for her journey which started with folk songs of Palamu and reached film songs of Mumbai.

The Chief Minister congratulated Megha when she shared her song based on daughters on her Twitter handle. When the Chief Minister saw this song on Twitter, he was very happy to hear it. After this he congratulated Megha. Megha, happy with the reaction of the Chief Minister also thanked him. 

The song ‘Main Beti Hoon Par Boj Nahi’ sung by Megha Shriram Dalton is a very emotional and motivational song that has been doing the rounds on social media for the past year. This was noticed by the Chief Minister who congratulated Megha.

The lyrics of this song have also been written by Karan Mastana, a resident of Palamu who lives in Mumbai. Its musician is Ghungroo who hails from Bihar. The recording of this song has been done by Manoj Mehta of Medininagar while its mixing has been done in Mumbai. Megha said that she got the inspiration for this song from her mother.

Megha says that when her illiterate mother told me that do not keep your studies and knowledge locked in a box and distribute it in society. Since then she has started singing songs for society only. Megha said that the success of music is only when it changes one’s life or music becomes one’s inspiration.

Today this song has been sung after seeing the atrocities and injustice being done to daughters everywhere. She said that many such songs which are based on social fabric are going to come forward continuously. The singer said Jharkhand is settled in her veins and through her songs she wants to highlight the folk style here.
