Rains predicted from Saturday onwards

Ranchi: There is a possibility of change in the weather pattern in Jharkhand from Saturday onwards as there may be rain along with the cloud cover at some places. However, there is little chance of getting relief from the heat.

According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Center, there is a possibility of rain with thunder from April 16 to April 20. There may be a thunderstorm with clouds in the eastern, north-east, adjoining central parts of the state and there is a possibility of rain during this time.

The possibility of thunderstorms has also been expressed. There are possibilities of change in the weather in Jharkhand amidst the scorching heat. The MET said that during this time the sky will remain cloudy. It may also rain at some places and there is a possibility of thunderstorms. During this, a heatwave can also go on at some places. Due to this, much relief is not expected from the heat.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of change in the weather from April 16. People got some relief from the scorching sun due to the light cloudy sky on Thursday in Ranchi and surrounding areas, the capital of Jharkhand. The maximum temperature on Wednesday was 39.8 degrees, which was recorded on Thursday at 38.6 degrees.

Scientists at the local weather station said that due to the moisture coming from the Arabian Sea and the cyclonic circulation formed in the area of Uttar Pradesh, the sky has remained cloudy. This situation is likely to last for two-three days.

From April 16-17, the east and central parts of Jharkhand will remain cloudy. There may be light drizzle coupled with thunderstorms however there is little chance of getting complete relief from the heat at the moment.
