Ranchi: On the directions of Chief Minister Hemant Soren efforts have been commenced to provide shelter to the women who come to the capital to work as daily wage earner.
Ranchi DC informed the Chief Minister that the Municipal Corporation has been informed over the seriousness of the matter and has been instructed to take necessary action. He said that arrangements are being made so that these women can stay in shelter homes (Rayn Basera) and even common people are being informed about the availability of such homes.
The Chief Minister was informed that women who come to the capital as daily wage earners are forced to spend the night on the footpath. These women also bring their clothes so that incase they do not get work then they can spend the night and again next day look for work.
After the matter was brought in the notice of the Chief Minister he directed Ranchi DC to make necessary arrangements in this regard and also spread information about such homes so that people can take its advantage.
