Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday approved a proposal to take necessary action against suspended IPS officer Anurag Gupta.
An official release issued here said Chief Minister Hemant Soren has approved the proposal of the Home Prison and Disaster Management Department to initiate action against the suspended IPS officer.
The action would be initiated against suspended IPS officer Anurag Gupta under Prevention of Corruption Act 1988 sections 7 and 13 (1) (d) and 13 (2) along with section 120 (B) of the IPC.
