Union Water Resources Minister Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday chaired a high-level meeting to review issues related to the Mandal Dam project.

Jharkhand Water Resources Minister Chandraprakash Choudhary and Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal were among those present at the meeting, which was also attended by senior officials and MPs from the affected regions.

During the meeting, Gadkari reviewed the work completed so far as well as pending issues related to the project. He expressed displeasure over the delay in obtaining clearance for the second phase and directed officials to complete all pending work within one month.
