

Mumbai: Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas has officially moved on to her next Hollywood project, announcing that she will star alongside Academy Award-winning actor Russell Crowe in the upcoming science fiction action thriller *Bluefly*.
Priyanka shared the announcement on social media with a simple caption, **"Onto the next,"** confirming her involvement in the film, which marks her first on-screen collaboration with Crowe.
Directed by *Predators* filmmaker Nimród Antal, *Bluefly* is written by David Frigerio, William Eubank and Carlyle Eubank. The film promises a gripping blend of science fiction and action.

According to the official synopsis, the story follows a grieving United Nations translator who is drawn into a covert black-ops mission deep in the Congo to recover a mysterious crashed aircraft that "isn't supposed to exist." As the team ventures further into hostile territory, the mission spirals into a dangerous journey, revealing that the aircraft may hold secrets never meant to be uncovered.
Crowe, one of Hollywood's most celebrated actors, won the Academy Award for *Gladiator* and has also earned acclaim for acclaimed performances in *A Beautiful Mind*, *The Insider* and *L.A. Confidential*.
Priyanka, meanwhile, continues to expand her global film career. She will also be seen in filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli's highly anticipated action-adventure *Varanasi*, which stars Mahesh Babu in a dual role alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film reportedly revolves around Rudhra's quest to save the ancient city of Varanasi from an approaching asteroid, with the narrative unfolding across multiple timelines.
