Akanksha Chamola Fears 'Third Secret' Could Spark Massive Backlash Against Her and Husband Gaurav Khanna

Akanksha Chamola has revealed that the "third secret" she has kept hidden on the reality show Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa could lead to severe public backlash against both her and her husband, Gaurav Khanna.

The actress made the remarks while speaking to fellow contestant Pamala Serena, expressing concern that her on-screen rival, Shreya Kalra, might reveal the secret during the course of the show.

Earlier, Shreya had disclosed Akanksha's second secret—that she is bisexual. Now, Akanksha fears her third secret could have even more serious consequences.

Recalling a conversation with Shreya, Akanksha said that Shreya had earlier claimed they had become friends before leaving the show, but later denied the friendship altogether.

"She doesn't realise even once that she is so inhumane," Akanksha said.

Speaking about the possible fallout, Akanksha said she and her husband could face intense public criticism because of their public profiles.

"I'm a public figure, no matter what. My husband is a big name in the industry. We'll both get publicly lynched. People may forget who revealed it, but they'll remember Gaurav Khanna and me. And yes, I am answerable to my entire family now."

She also expressed concern about her family's reaction if the secret becomes public.

"Once this third secret comes out, my family will really slap me or something when I reach home. They'll say, 'Just leave the family if you won't tell us anything.'"

Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa is currently hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh. The show features contestants including Shilpa Shinde, Akanksha Chaudhary, Ram Kapoor, Shreya Kalra, Shivangi Joshi, Harshad Chopra, Dheeraj Dhoopar, and Varun Yadav.

The original Lock Upp premiered in 2022 and was hosted by Kangana Ranaut, with Karan Kundrra serving as the jailor. Munawar Faruqui emerged as the winner of the inaugural season.
