Mumbai: Actress and content creator Niharika NM says her upcoming film ‘Bhai Tera Star Hai’ stood out because of its fresh concept, youthful energy, and a script that genuinely entertained her from the first read.
In an exclusive interaction with IANS, Niharika shared that she immediately connected with the film and felt it offered a different flavour compared to many recent comedy releases.
“I really liked the script. It was a lot of fun, and the cast and crew were also very fresh. It is a very young and new film,” she said.
She added that she had been missing comedies that leave a lasting impression on audiences.
“In today’s time, I feel the comedies that are coming out are not making that much of an impact. When I read the script as an audience member, I felt this was something I would genuinely enjoy watching. And if I enjoy watching such films, I want to be a part of them. This is exactly that kind of film,” Niharika explained.
The actress also spoke about working with Raghav Juyal, describing the experience as both exciting and challenging in the best way.
“I had a lot of fun working with Raghav, both on-screen and off-screen. What you see for a few seconds on screen is often stretched into hours during shooting. Matching his energy pushes you to perform better because he brings so much enthusiasm to every moment. When a scene is written with that level of energy, you have to match his pace, and the result turns out great,” she said.
Raghav Juyal, who plays a key role in the film, said he hopes the movie revives the carefree humour associated with Govinda’s classic entertainers.
“Through this comedy, I wanted to bring back the kind of humour we saw in Govinda’s films—something for my parents and for boys and girls from small cities. A film where people can laugh freely, laugh wholeheartedly, and enjoy themselves without holding back,” he said.
Directed by Vivek B. Agrawal, ‘Bhai Tera Star Hai’ also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Barkha Singh, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Vivan Bhatena, Niki Aneja Walia, and Vikalp Mehta. The film is slated for a theatrical release on July 30, 2026.
