Munmun Dutta Shares Her Gut-Friendly Summer Morning Routine

Mumbai — Actress Munmun Dutta, widely known for her role as Babita in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, offered a glimpse into her healthy summer morning routine, focusing on gut-friendly foods.

Sharing updates on social media, Munmun highlighted the importance of maintaining digestive health during the hotter months. “Made our morning glass of great gut health,” she wrote while posting a video of her preparing a refreshing drink.

The actress was seen making a buttermilk-based beverage, commonly known as chaas, infused with ingredients like chopped onions and fresh coriander. The fermented base makes it rich in probiotics, which are known to support digestion and help keep the body cool in summer.

She also spoke about “Ragi Ambali,” a traditional drink made from fermented ragi (finger millet). Prepared by soaking and fermenting ragi overnight, this beverage is valued for improving gut microbiome health, aiding digestion, and offering a cooling effect during high temperatures.

Munmun, who is known for her fitness-conscious lifestyle, often shares updates from her workout and yoga routines.

On the work front, she has been associated with Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah for over 15 years and continues to be a popular face on the show. Her on-screen pairing with Iyer has consistently been appreciated by viewers.

Apart from acting, she is also an animal lover and frequently cares for stray animals. Recently, she shared moments of rescuing and fostering a kitten, spending time with it on the sets and in her green room.
