Celebrities Extend Mahashivratri Wishes with Spiritual Messages and Devotional Posts

Mumbai — Several prominent figures from the entertainment industry shared heartfelt wishes on the occasion of Mahashivratri, using social media platforms to convey spiritual messages and festive greetings.

Chiranjeevi took to social media to share a reflective message, stating that when ignorance is replaced by spiritual awareness, every individual can embody the essence of Lord Shiva. He further wished that the festival inspires people to look within and experience spiritual consciousness, extending warm greetings on the auspicious day.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar also conveyed his wishes, praying for Lord Shiva’s blessings and sharing devotional greetings with the message “Om Namah Shivaya” and “Jai Mahakaal.”

Actor Suniel Shetty shared a photograph of himself dressed as a sadhu, expressing that inner peace and silence allow one to experience Shiva’s presence. He extended his best wishes to followers celebrating the festival.

Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan also greeted fans, wishing them love and divine blessings associated with Mahadev.

Meanwhile, Raveena Tandon shared images from her temple visits, captioning them with devotional chants. Earlier, in January 2025, she undertook a spiritual pilgrimage with her daughter Rasha Thadani, visiting all 12 Jyotirlingas across India.

During their religious journey, the duo visited sacred shrines including Kedarnath Temple, Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, and Ramanathaswamy Temple. Their pilgrimage concluded at the Nageshwar Jyotirlinga.

Mahashivratri is a significant Hindu festival commemorating the divine union of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Devotees across India observe the occasion through fasting, chanting prayers, and offering worship at Shiva temples.
