Filming Begins for Costly Climax of Virat Karrna’s Pan-India Film ‘Nagabandham’

Hyderabad - The team behind director Abhishek Nama’s much-anticipated pan-Indian film Nagabandham, starring Virat Karrna, Nabha Natesh, and Iswarya Menon, has begun shooting the film’s spectacular climax sequence.

According to sources, the climax is being filmed at Ramanaidu Studios and is considered one of the most ambitious finales ever created for a mythological action drama. The makers have reportedly invested an enormous ?20 crore solely for this final sequence.

Nagabandham is described as a passion project for Abhishek Nama, who is paying special attention to crafting the climax with utmost detail. At the center of this sequence stands an enormous, symbolically significant set featuring a massive sacred door. Designed by production designer Ashok Kumar, the set captures the majestic aesthetics of ancient temple architecture. To amplify the action, the production has enlisted renowned Thai stunt choreographer Kecha Khamphakdee.

The film features a strong ensemble cast including Nabha Natesh, Iswarya Menon, Jagapathi Babu, Jayaprakash, Murali Sharma, and B.S. Avinash.

The story delves into the hidden mysteries of India’s ancient Vishnu temples, focusing on the sacred ritual of Nagabandham. Drawing inspiration from recent treasure discoveries at temples such as Padmanabhaswamy and Puri Jagannath, the film explores the mythology, divine secrets, and intricate rituals believed to protect these holy sites. The narrative aims to bring these age-old legends to life with a modern storytelling approach.

Cinematography is handled by Soundar Rajan S, with music composed by Abhe and Junaid Kumar. Dialogues are written by Kalyan Chakravarthy, editing is managed by Santosh Kamireddy, and Ashok Kumar serves as the art director.

Set for release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, Nagabandham is shaping up to be a grand adventure rooted in ancient lore. The film carries the tagline: “The Secret Treasure.”

Abhishek Nama has written both the story and screenplay, while the production is backed by Kishore Annapureddy and Nishitha Nagireddy.
