Los Angeles: Singer and actress Selena Gomez has made it clear she has no plans to slow down anytime soon. She shared that her goal is to keep improving and evolving in all areas of her life.
Gomez, who has been open about her mental health journey, told Allure:
"I want to keep evolving and getting better in every area of my life. I also want to experience everything, so it’s important for me to keep myself in check. I’m so happy that when emotions come up, I can acknowledge them, sit with them, and then let them go."
The Wolves singer has also found huge success with her beauty brand, Rare Beauty. Still, she remains open to exploring new opportunities. “I am going to be in this moment. And who knows, in a couple of years I could be done, and that’s fine. I just need to make sure that while I’m here, I do the best I can,” she explained.
Launched in 2020, Rare Beauty was built on Gomez’s mission to promote inclusivity and support mental health initiatives. She said she feels “so proud” of what she has accomplished in such a short time:
"This is probably the most important thing I do with my time. We’ve built a community with Rare, and I’m so proud of that. Hopefully, we’ve helped people feel less alone — that’s always been our goal."
Gomez has often spoken about her struggles with mental health and offered advice to others facing challenges:
"Try not to isolate. I think it’s important to have moments alone, but when you isolate, sometimes those feelings can just stay bottled up."
The actress and singer, who is engaged to record producer Benny Blanco, continues to balance her creative work, business ventures, and personal growth — all while striving to make a positive impact.
