Chennai – Acclaimed cinematographer Shreyaas Krishna has officially joined the crew of Mysaa, the much-anticipated action entertainer directed by Rawindra Pulle and headlined by actress Rashmika Mandanna.
Announcing the news on X (formerly Twitter), the film’s production house, UnFormula Films, wrote:
“In the world of #MYSAA, every landscape tells a story, every frame breathes life. Welcoming onboard DOP @kshreyaas whose visuals are set to leave a lasting impact.”
Alongside the announcement, the production team also shared a special video highlighting Shreyaas Krishna’s impressive body of work, which includes visually striking films such as Jagame Thandhiram, Sita Ramam, and Mahaan.
This development comes just a day after the team announced that international stunt choreographer Andy Long—renowned for his work in Commando, Kung Fu Warrior, Projekt Adler, The Intergalactic Adventures of Max Cloud, Sanak, and Kalki—has been brought on board to design the film’s action sequences.
Rashmika Mandanna has expressed strong emotional investment in Mysaa. Earlier, unveiling her intense first-look poster on Instagram, she wrote:
“I always try to give you something new… something different… something exciting… And this… This is one of those. A character I’ve never played before… a world I’ve never stepped into… and a version of me that even I hadn’t met till now. It’s fierce… it’s intense… and it’s extremely raw. I am so nervous and super excited, I genuinely cannot wait for you to see what we’re going to be creating. This is just the beginning. #Mysaa.”
Mysaa is described as an emotional action thriller, with Rashmika reportedly portraying a woman from the Gond tribal community. The film is directed by Rawindra Pulle and produced by Ajay and Anil Sayyapureddy under the banner of UnFormula Films.
While plot details remain tightly guarded, all signs point to Mysaa being a transformative and high-octane film that could mark a new chapter in Rashmika’s acting journey.
