Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Begin Rehearsals for Grand Song Sequence in ‘Alpha’

Mumbai: Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari have kicked off preparations for a grand promotional song in Yash Raj Films’ upcoming female-led action film Alpha.

Following the tradition of blockbuster dance numbers like “Jai Jai Shivshankar” from War and “Jhoome Jo Pathaan” from Pathaan, Alpha promises a similarly spectacular song featuring Alia and Sharvari showcasing their dance moves in a high-energy sequence.

According to official sources, the duo has been undergoing intense training for over two months at YRF Studios in Mumbai to perfect their moves and physique for the song. The sequence is expected to present both actresses in a striking new avatar.

Alpha marks Alia Bhatt’s entry into the YRF Spy Universe, making her the first female superstar to lead a film in the franchise — a significant step that places her on par with the male leads of this cinematic world. Sharvari stars alongside her in the Shiv Rawail-directed action entertainer, set for release during the Christmas weekend of 2025.

This film will be the seventh installment in the YRF Spy Universe, which began with the Tiger series starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif (Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai), and continued with War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3. Upcoming entries include War 2 (directed by Ayan Mukerji), Pathaan 2, and Tiger vs. Pathaan.

Speaking to IANS in March, Sharvari shared her excitement about working with Alia: “The biggest takeaway for me from this film has been the opportunity to learn from Alia. She’s an exceptional actress and an even more wonderful person.”

She described the experience as transformative, saying, “Being on set with her every day felt like a master class. I’ve learned so much and hope to carry those lessons into all my future projects. I’m truly grateful for this opportunity.”
