Nargis Fakhri Makes a Bold Comeback: ‘Back Like I Never Left’

Mumbai – Actress Nargis Fakhri is making her return to the big screen after a two-year break with the upcoming film Housefull 5. And she’s doing it in style, declaring she’s “back like I never left.”

On Sunday, Nargis took to Instagram to share a series of glamorous photos from a recent photo shoot during the trailer launch of the fifth installment of the Housefull franchise, directed by Tarun Mansukhani.

In the caption, she confidently wrote: “Back like I never left—louder, bolder, and too hot to handle #forceofnature.”

Nargis was last seen in the 2023 comedy Shiv Shastri Balboa, directed by Ajayan Venugopalan and starring Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, and Jugal Hansraj.

Housefull 5 features a star-studded ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film has been generating buzz with its high-energy promotional content. Housefull 5 is set to release in theaters on June 6.

The Housefull series began in 2010, followed by sequels in 2012, 2016, and 2019, directed by Sajid Khan, Sajid-Farhad, and Farhad Samji respectively.

Nargis rose to fame in India with the 2011 romantic drama Rockstar opposite Ranbir Kapoor. She went on to play notable roles in the political thriller Madras Cafe (2013), comedies like Main Tera Hero and Housefull 3, and even appeared in the Hollywood action-comedy Spy in 2015.
