
Jamshedpur: Premier B-school , XLRI has taken a major step in expanding its national presence by signing a strategic agreement with the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority to set up a new campus in Amaravati.
The upcoming XLRI Amaravati campus will be developed on 61.7 acres with an estimated investment of Rs 300 crore. Envisioned as a modern centre of excellence, the campus will uphold XLRI’s core values of “Excellence and Integrity” while embracing innovation, sustainability, and globally aligned academic standards. In its initial phase, the campus will offer an integrated programme designed to accommodate 1,000 students.
It will also introduce executive education programmes for around 200 working professionals, fostering a strong interface between academia and industry while nurturing leadership capabilities. Conceptualised as a “Campus of Infinite Goodness,” the institution aims to create a smart, sustainable, and future-ready learning environment.
The campus will feature advanced infrastructure, technology-driven classrooms, and collaborative spaces that promote innovation, ethical leadership, and holistic development.
The partnership underscores a shared vision between XLRI and APCRDA to build institutions that contribute to knowledge creation, leadership development, and regional economic growth. With Amaravati steadily emerging as a hub for governance, education, and innovation, the new campus is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the region’s academic ecosystem.
Commenting on the development, Fr. George Sebastian, Director of XLRI Jamshedpur, said the initiative reflects the institution’s commitment to widening access to world-class management education while staying rooted in its foundational values. He added that the new campus will serve as a dynamic ecosystem where innovation, sustainability, and responsible leadership converge.
