Successful knee plant done at Hill View Hospital

Ranchi (By our correspondent): For the first time in Bihar and Jharkhand compute navigated total knee replacement has been carried
out in Hill View hospital and Research Centre Ranchi by a team of Dr. Nitesh Priya. 

A 70-year-old lady from Doranda locality of Ranchi, knee transplant was done through compute navigation technology. According to Dr. Priya compute navigation of knee replacement surgery is the new innovation which is aimed at improving the accuracy of prosthetic implantation and furthering efforts at minimizing at the surgical exposure.

Navigation provides better precision and accuracy, enhancing early recovery and quick return to normal life. “ The benefit of the computer Navigation Knee Replacement is that it needs small incision, gives better results than general implants. The recovery is fast” said Dr Priya.
