Preparations for the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (J-TET) have gained momentum, with the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) proposing October 11 as the date for the examination, officials said.
The JAC has submitted a proposed timeline covering the examination process, evaluation and declaration of results to the School Education and Literacy Department. The examination date, however, is yet to be officially notified by the council.
According to the proposed schedule, the J-TET is expected to be conducted at more than 1,000 examination centres across the state. The JAC has sought details of potential examination centres from all districts as part of the preparations.
The evaluation process is scheduled to be completed after the examination, with the council aiming to declare the results in December.
The proposed timeline has increased anticipation among candidates preparing for the eligibility test, particularly those aspiring to pursue teaching opportunities in government and other schools in Jharkhand.
The final examination date, application-related instructions, centre details and other guidelines will be communicated by the JAC through its official notification.
Candidates have been advised to keep track of official announcements and complete their preparation in accordance with the prescribed syllabus and examination pattern.
