Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren met German Ambassador Philip Ackermann and the Economy Counsellor at the Chief Minister’s official residence on Wednesday. The meeting focused on various aspects of development, particularly exploring opportunities for cooperation between Jharkhand and Germany.
Ambassador Ackermann highlighted the similarities between Germany and Jharkhand in coal mining and production sectors and expressed interest in enhancing collaboration in coal-based industries. The Chief Minister informed the ambassador about Jharkhand’s potential for industrial investment and emphasized that the state government is actively engaging with industrial groups both within India and abroad, yielding positive outcomes.
Chief Minister Soren assured full support for German investors interested in investing in India. In response, Ambassador Ackermann extended an invitation to the Chief Minister to visit Germany.
The meeting was also attended by the Chief Minister’s Additional Chief Secretary, Avinash Kumar.
