Bird flu scare in Ranchi, 3 samples sent to Kolkata for testing

Ranchi: The microbiology department of RIMS has sent the blood samples of three suspected blood flu patients to NIDC Kolkata for
examination. All the patients hail from Ranchi and it is expected that the report would be available on Monday after that only the doctors would decide whether the patients were suffering from.

Swine Flu or bird flu has symptoms for both the disease or more or less the same. Dr Manoj Kumar of Microbiology department of RIMS confirmed that the samples have been sent. On the other hand IDSP incharge for the state, Dr Rakesh Dayal said that there has been no confirm case of bird flu in the state but and a alert has been issued he said adding that the RIMS has sent the sample at its own level for examination.
