CM lays foundation stone for beautification works at Tapovan Mandir & surrounding areas

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday laid the foundation stone for beautification works at the historic Tapovan Mandir of the state capital and its surrounding areas which will be taken up at a cost of Rs 14.67 crore.

Once the beautification work is complete the temple will get a new identity as a religious spot as many facilities will be available here for the devotees. As part of the project the temple and its surrounding areas will
be developed.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren laid the foundation stone for the beautification and other development works of the temple and nearby areas in function. The priests of the temple made the Chief Minister perform the rituals before laying the foundation.

For the purpose of beautification and development of the temple a sum of Rs 14.67 crore will be spent. Judco has prepared the action plan for its development under which the bridge from Tapovan Mandir to Kadru will be expanded and the road connecting the bridge to Nivaranpur will be also expanded.

Further, for the visitors, an alternative road of coming to the temple will be created while on both sides welcome gates will be also constructed. Arrangements of Parking area, lawn, playing area for children, outdoor gym service block, temple plaza and kiosk will be also available for the devotees.
