CM approves to register PE over wastage of medicines worth Rs 50 crore

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has directed to register a PE after the news was published regarding medicines worth Rs 50 crore going waste.

The matter is related to the purchase of the medicines and their storage and supply to the concerned districts.

A recommendation in this regard has been sent to ACB and to the Special Cell and the opinion of the Health and opinion of the Family Welfare Department has been also sought over the matter.

Soren has given his approval to fill the vacant posts in BIT Sindri and other Polytechnic institutions in the state.

He has directed to make an analysis of the vacant posts and in case of previously issued vacancies those candidates who had applied previously they should be provided relaxation in age limit and the revised letter to JPSC in this regard should also be sent.

As per the proposal which had been approved by the Chief Minister August 1, 2020, would be the new cut off date and a fresh advertisement would be issued by JPSC. Further such candidates who had applied earlier for the posts need not file a second application. Further, it has been also decided that for filling the backlog vacancy for the post of assistant professors in BIT Sindri the cut off date too will be August 1, 2020, and in this case, also a fresh advertisement would be issued.

JPSC in the year 2015 was asked to conduct the exam to fill the vacant post of assistant professor in BIT Sindri and it has been two years since the advertisement in this regard was issued.
