Ranchi (By our correspondent): Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Subodh Kant Sahai said that despite merrymaking by the state government there was no smile on the faces of 3.50 crore people of Jharkhand.
Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here Mr Sahai said that Congress had played an important role in the formation of the separate state of Jharkhand but this young state which has completed 18 years was now grappling with malnutrition and has been made a sick and unemployed Jharkhand.
He said that the corporate model of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Raghubar Das cannot bring prosperity to the state. He said that it is out in open that the Chief Minister travelled around the world and invited corporate houses but how many MoUs have been realized on the ground is known to every one.
