Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has directed Deputy Commissioners of Giridih and Hazaribagh to take quick action against the irregularities in distribution of food grains by the shops of Public Distribution System (PDS).
The Chief Minister said that it is the priority of the government to provide food grains to all the needy during this period of crisis. There are several complaints of irregularities in the distribution of food grains from various districts.
He has directed all the Deputy Commissioners to constitute a special monitoring team which and conduct surprise check of PDS shops and take strict action against dealers who are found guilty.
