Chaibasa: Unidentified armed miscreants set on fire three machines involved in a road construction project under Sonuwa Police Station area of the West Singhbhum.
The employees of the road construction company said that seven armed miscreants executed the incident in which two generators and a drilling machine was set on fire by the miscreants.
Police said that a road was being repaired connecting Sonua with Gudri as part of which a culvert was being built at Porahaat Char Mode where these machines were kept. The miscreants reached late Thursday night and set the machines on fire. However, before leaving from the place the snatched a mobile of a labourer.
Police on their part said that they had got to know about the incident from their own sources as no one had complained about the incident. The matter was being probed from all possible angles.
