Coimbatore – India’s only woman with three international motorsport titles, Aishwarya Pissay, is all set to make her car rally debut at the Blueband Sports Rally of Coimbatore, the second round of the FMSCI Indian National Rally Championship (INRC) 2025, taking place from July 25 to 27.
Renowned for her outstanding accomplishments on two wheels — including 11 national titles — Aishwarya currently leads the 2025 2W National Rally Championship with one round remaining. Her upcoming entry into four-wheeler rallying marks an exciting new chapter in her racing career, as she prepares to compete in both motorcycle and car rally formats simultaneously.
“Racing is my language — whether it’s on two wheels or four. I’m here to compete, learn quickly, and push the limits in every format I take on. This debut is the start of a bigger dream,” Aishwarya said.
The Rally of Coimbatore presents a tough dirt and gravel course, including 105.30 km of competitive Special Stages and a total rally distance of 166.93 km. Aishwarya’s four-wheeler debut is supported by key partners — AART Motorsports, Micro Labs, Paddock Media House, and R9 Stables — who continue to back her journey in both formats of motorsport.
With this bold move, Aishwarya is once again redefining the boundaries of Indian motorsport — one wheel at a time.
Notably, in her recent FIM World Championship appearance, Aishwarya faced a setback at the MRF MoGrip FMSCI INRC 2W 2025 in Coimbatore, where she was forced to retire due to a technical regulation issue despite being in strong contention for a win.
