CCRAS Partners with Anuvadini AI to Bring Ayurveda Research to 13 Languages

New Delhi — In a move aimed at widening access to authentic Ayurveda knowledge, the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), under the Ministry of Ayush, has signed an MoU with Anuvadini AI, a language translation platform developed by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The collaboration is designed to break language barriers by translating CCRAS’s research findings and educational content into 13 regional languages, including Hindi. The goal is to ensure that evidence-based Ayurveda information reaches people across diverse linguistic backgrounds in India.

Professor Rabinarayan Acharya, Director General of CCRAS, said the initiative reflects the organisation’s commitment to making Ayurveda research useful not just for scholars but also for the general public in their native languages.

Anuvadini AI uses artificial intelligence to translate technical, scientific, and policy-related content into multiple Indian and foreign languages. The platform aims to make reliable and research-backed information accessible to everyone, regardless of region or language.

Dr. Buddha Chandrasekhar, CEO of Anuvadini AI, noted that the platform was built to support such initiatives, where technology can help democratise knowledge and make it more inclusive.

Looking ahead, the partnership may expand to include foreign languages, especially in countries where the Ministry of Ayush and CCRAS have already established Ayush Chairs. This could help take credible Ayurveda knowledge to a global audience.

CCRAS operates a network of 30 institutes across 25 states and is actively involved in scientific research in Ayurveda. Through this initiative, its work will now reach a much wider audience, while also helping curb the spread of misinformation by promoting verified knowledge.
