Mahindra & Mahindra Rolls Out New Thar 2025, Starting at Rs. 9.99 Lakh

New Delhi — Mahindra & Mahindra on Friday unveiled the much-awaited Thar 2025, with prices beginning at ?9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest model brings a refreshed design, smarter technology, and enhanced comfort features, aiming to strike a balance between city commutes and off-road adventures.

In a statement, the automaker described the SUV as one “engineered to redefine urban mobility while staying true to its rugged, adventurous DNA.”

The Thar legacy, which already boasts a community of over three lakh owners, has evolved beyond a vehicle into a symbol of freedom and lifestyle, inspiring exploration with its timeless design and unmatched capability.

Key Features of Thar 2025

  • Smart Connectivity: A 26.03 cm HD infotainment screen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Type-C USB ports.

  • Enhanced Safety: Tyre direction monitoring system with real-time feedback.

  • Adventure Stats Gen II: Off-road data including altimeter, outside temperature, racing tab, trip meter, steering direction, and more.

  • Comfort Upgrades: Rear AC vents, sliding armrest, dead pedal (AT), door-mounted power windows, and rear-view camera.

  • Convenience: Internally operated fuel lid for hassle-free refueling.

Under the hood, Mahindra offers multiple engine and transmission options, including a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed torque converter automatic, and both RWD and 4x4 configurations.
