DC Inspects Baba Mandir Area; Terms Devotee Safety and Facilities as Top Priority

Deoghar: On Wednesday, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) cum District Magistrate, Shashi Prakash Singh, inspected the Baba Mandir premises and its surrounding areas to review the existing arrangements. The primary objective of this inspection was to assess administrative preparedness, security measures, and basic facilities on-site in view of upcoming major events and the increasing number of devotees.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner also visited the fair area along with Khijuria, Dumma Border, and the Kothia route line. He reviewed the facilities currently being provided to the devotees and the progress of ongoing preparations.
Furthermore, the DC closely examined the condition of the pedestrian paths, toilets, drinking water facilities, bathrooms, street lighting, and rest areas. Issuing directives to the officials present on the spot, he stated:
"The faith and convenience of the devotees are the topmost priorities of the district administration. All concerned departments must work in mutual coordination and ensure there is no laxity in preparations at any level."
The inspection saw the presence of District Nazarat Deputy Collector Shailesh Priyadarshi, District Public Relations Officer Rahul Kumar Bharti, Assistant Public Relations Officer Rohit Kumar Vidyarthi, the DMFT team, and other relevant officials.
