Shah asks protesting students to read the CAB bill first, accuses opposition of instigating violence

Pakur/Godda: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has accused the Congress, TMC and the Aam Aadmi Party of misleading the students over the citizenship amendment bill and spreading violence in the country.

Addressing a couple of election rallies in Santhal Pargana he also urged these parties to leave behind the path of violence as it can lead to no good.”

I also urge the students to first read the citizenship amendment bill as in this act there is no provision of taking away the citizenship of any person but it was rather to give citizenship to the people who had to face atrocities in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh,” he said.

He said that CAB was passed by both houses of the parliament to give citizenship to the minorities of these three neighbouring countries comprising the Hindus, Jains, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis and Christians but the opposition was doing its vote bank politics over the issue.

Attacking the trio of Congress, JMM and the RJD he said that while on one hand, BJP wanted to take Jharkhand further on the path or progress these parties are trying to push the state backwards.

He said that the Congress party can neither keep the country safe, neither respect the feelings of the people nor bring development in the nation than why it should be given power.

He said that whenever these parties have come into power they have only indulged in corruption. He pointed out that forced religious conversion has been a major issue in Jharkhand which only Raghubar government tried to address after coming into power.

Adding further Mr Shah said that it was the Congress and the RJD which fired bullets on the youth who were demanding the separate state of Jharkhand and now for the lust of power Hemant Soren who has the slogan of Jal Jungle and Zameen had sat in their lap just for the chair of Chief Minister.

The Home Minister said that under the previous tenure of these parties the Maoists had spread their wings vastly due to which all the development projects were hampered while on the other hand under Modi government concrete steps have been taken to remove them from the state.

He said that the Congress party has been trying to mislead the country over the issue of Article 370, Triple Talaq, Ram Mandir and Citizenship Amendment Bill.

He said that Jammu and Kashmir is a precious stone in the crown of India and for its development, it was important to remove article 370 which the Congress did not for its vote bank politics.

Further attacking the Congress party he said that Congress had hatched conspiracies to delay the verdict in the Ram Mandir case in the Supreme Court but now since the decision has come no one can prevent the construction of a grand temple in Ayodhya.

Recalling the incidents of surgical strikes and airstrikes in Pakistan he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was committed to remove the terrorists and has made the world change its way of looking at India.
