Dumka: Haryanvi Folk Sensation Sapna Chowdhary made her grand entry in the polls of Jharkhand as she had people young and old fill the streets of Jama where she held a roadshow as part of campaigning for BJP candidate Suresn Murmu.
Such was the enthusiasm among the people to catch a glimpse of the singer that whether they were youngsters, children or even elderly had lined up on the streets to see her face to face.
The crowd in excitement also demanded her to sign one or two of her most popular numbers. However, on her part Sapna urged the people to press the symbol of Lotus and ensure the BJP wins from the area.
She said that once again BJP will be forming its government in Jharkhand. She linked the development schemes and the welfare projects of the Modi government with nationalism and urged the people to vote for a strong government in Jharkhand.
Jama votes in the fifth and final phase of polls on December 20. Currently, the seat is held by Sita Soren of the JMM who is also the daughter-in-law of JMM supremo Shibu Soren.
