
Dhanbad: Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia attacked the Raghubar Das government of the state over the issues of unemployment and displacement.
Addressing an election rally in Jharia while campaigning for party candidate Poornima Singh he said that if Mahagathbandhan comes into power in Jharkhand than Jharia will not be displaced rather the state will be made free from the BJP. He said that while the youth and the farmers in Jharkhand were under stress the government was busy merry-making.
He also attacked the state government over the water and power crisis in the region and said that the displacement policy which has been adopted here is neither providing adequate compensation to the people who are being displaced nor work was being done to rehabilitate them properly.
The former union minister said that if voted to power the party will take the best possible measures to check displacement. He promised that if Mahagathbandhan comes into power than farmers will get the right price of their products, the tribals will also get right over their land and women will be provided security
