Jawan of Chhattisgarh Armed police kills company commander, commits suicide later

Ranchi: A jawan of the Chhattisgarh Armed Police shot dead his company commander and later shot himself at the Khelgaon Stadium here.

The deceased company commander has been identified as Mela Ram Kure and the jawan was Vikram Rajwade.

Both of them were posted in B Company of the 4th battalion of Chhattisgarh Armed Police.

Police said that a dispute took place over some issue between the company commander and the jawan and after some time the jawan came back and shot the company commander dead and later also shot himself.

Both of them died on the spot. The jawans of Chhattisgarh Armed Police have been deployed on election duty in Jharkhand.
