Battle for Jharkhand: Total of 346 nominations filed for third phase

Ranchi: A total of 346 nominations have been filed on for the third phase of polls in the state on 17 seats where voting will be held on December 12.

At the end of the nomination process, a maximum of 31 candidates are in the race in Ichagarh while a minimum of 15 candidates were on the Silli seat.

The scrutiny of the nomination papers will be held on November 26. Candidates can withdraw their names till November 28 while voting on these seats will be held on December 12.

Counting of votes takes place on December 23. More than 56.06 lakh people are eligible to vote in this phase.

The seats were elections will be held in the third phase included Koderma, Barkatha, Barhi, Mandu, Hazaribagh, Simaria (SC), Barkagaon, Ramgarh, Dhanwar, Gomia, Berma, Ichagarh, Silli, Khijri (ST), Ranchi, Hatia and Kanke (SC).
