Ranchi: A total of 34 nominations have been filed for the third phase of polls in the state on 17 seats where voting will be held on December 12.
A maximum of 6 nominations was filed in Hatia, 4 each in Bermo and Ichagarh, 3 each in Koderma, Silli, Khijri and Ranchi. 2 nominations were filed in Hazaribagh and 1 each in Barkatha, Barhi, Simaria, Ramgarh, Dhanwar, and Gomia.
The last date of filing of nominations on these seats is November 25 while scrutiny of the nomination papers will be held on November 26.
Candidates can withdraw their names till November 28 while voting on these seats will be held on December 12. Counting of votes takes place on December 23.
More than 56.06 lakh people are eligible to vote in this phase.
The seats were elections will be held in the third phase included Koderma, Barkatha, Barhi, Mandu, Hazaribagh, Simaria (SC), Barkagaon, Ramgarh, Dhanwar, Gomia, Berma, Ichagarh, Silli, Khijri (ST), Ranchi, Hatia and Kanke (SC).
