Chakardharpur: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das alleged that by looting the land of the tribals the Soren family became landlords while they did nothing for the welfare of the poor and development of the state.
Addressing a public meeting after State BJP chief Laxman Giluwa filed his nominations he said that people must have realised what they have got in return after they gave JMM an opportunity from the area.
He said that the party which claims to be a champion for the poors and the tribals did nothing for them and even did not cared to protect the identity and culture of the people.
Mr Das said that instead the Soren family looted the land of the tribals, sold the sand of the state and violated the CNT and SPT Acts and went on to become Zamindars. He said that it was for the people of Kolhan to decide
as to who was their real well-wisher.
Mr Das said that people should take a pledge to make Kolhan free from JMM and should vote for such a party which will ensure their development.
The Chief Minister said that due to the strong and stable government policies are formed and the decision making process increases and bureaucracy does not go out of control. He said that it was due to the stable government that in the five years many works were undertaken in the state.
He said that due to the double engine government 57 lakh families were included under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana and power was provided in 30 lakh homes and 40 lakh families were given LPG connections under Ujjwala Yojana and works have been launched to provide a home for all and water for the fields.
However, Mr Das claimed that it was not appropriate to claim that the state has developed and many works needed to be done in the area of health of education and in the coming years with the help of a double engine government more work will be done in these areas.
