Post ticket snub BJP MLA Radha Krishan Kishore joins AJSU

Ranchi: BJP MLA from Chattarpur Radha Krishan Kishore today joined the AJSU party here after the BJP denied the MLA a ticket from the seat in the first list of the 52 candidates which has been released by the party.

Instead, BJP has fielded Pushpa Devi who is the wife of former MP Manoj Bhuiyaan from the seat which is reserved for SC. AJSU supremo Sudesh Kumar Mahto gave the party membership to Mr Kishore.

Later speaking to the press he said that for the last 40 years he is active in politics and it was due to the trust of the people he has been elected as an MLA for 5 occasions from the seat.

He said that on the basis of his experience he would like to tell that there was no point in being at a place where dedication, works and commitment have no importance. On the other hand, Sudesh said that the inclusion of Radha Krishna Kishore will give more strength to the party organisation.

He said that the MLA has deep knowledge of parliamentary and political system and will help the party to establish the real Jharkhandi values. He said that the party was working with dedication to fulfill the aspirations of the people and will make a strong presence in the Vidhan Sabha polls.

Radha Krishna Kishore has been a five-time MLA from Chattarpur seat. He won on three occasions in 1980, 1985 and 1995 on a Congress ticket while after Jharkhand came into existence he got elected on JD-U ticket and in 2014 he joined BJP and once again got elected from the seat.
