Ranchi: Arun Oraon, Ex- IG Police shared some of his real-life experiences which evinced that Ultimately the virtues of Honesty and Integrity does crown glory on the incumbent in the long run, though apparently one may feel throttled for some time. The Topic of the Lecture was Integrity: A way of Life.
He was delivering speech on the occasion of Vigilance Awareness Week, the Chief Guest Dr. Recalling his experiences at the Vigilance Dept. of Punjab, he affirmed that despite Hi-Tech sophistication in Crime, it does leave some or the other subtle footprints by which the perpetrator is apprehended. With examples of some anecdotes, it was evinced that ultimately Honesty and Integrity does pay in real life.
Ms. Kamakshi Raman, ED(HRD) welcomed Dr. Arun Oraon with a bouquet. Shri KK Jha, ED(SSO), Shri Ajay Arora, ED I/C (RDCIS) and Shri Jagdish Arora, ED(CET) also graced the occasion.
Shri Sanjay Agarwal, ACVO welcomed the Chief Guest and also Conducted the meeting. All the victorious participants of various competitions of Vigilance awareness week were honoured with prizes by Chief Guest and other EDs
of SAIL Ranchi Units. Shri Prashant Kumar, GM (Vigilance) proposed the vote of thanks.
