Khunti: A man in his mid-forties was shot dead in Bengabad village under Marangdaha Police Station area of this district. The deceased has been identified as Ghasiram Munda (45).
The man was alone in his house as other members of the family had gone to Ranchi. His body was spotted by the villagers who later informed the police.
A police team that later reached on the spot sent the body for post-mortem to Sadar Hospital from where it was handed over to the family members. Police said that the man has sustained bullet injuries in the ear. Further probe was on.
