Para teachers hold demonstrations outside BJP headquarters

Ranchi: Hundreds of para teachers who had gathered from the different areas of the state held agitation outside the BJP office here.

The demonstrations continued for a couple of hours after which they returned back to the Harmu Grounds where their other colleagues are staging a dharna for the last two days.

The para teachers hailing from North Chottanagpur division held demonstrations demanding the formation of rules for making them permanent and providing them with the pay scale.

The demonstrators also raised slogans in support of their demands. The para teachers said that as per the agreement inked between the state government on January 17, 2019 the state government without any delay should pass through the cabinet the rules for making them permanent and giving pay scale and called upon the government to fulfill its promise.
