Beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat Yojana should create awareness among others also: Arjun Munda

Ranchi: Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda has called upon the beneficiaries of the Ayushman Bharat Yojana to create awareness regarding the scheme in their vicinity and help the others also take advantage of this scheme.

During an interaction program with the beneficiaries of the Ayushman Bharat Yojana at his residence which included mostly cardiac patients he said that the beneficiaries should tell to the others that how they also can take advantage of this scheme as when the family is healthy than the country also becomes healthy and prosperous. He said that disease and its treatment are not confined to the boundaries of caste and community and the Ayushman Bharat Yojana has been framed for everyone.

He said that across the world talks are being held on this world’s largest Health Scheme and people are asking question as to how Prime Minister Narendra Modi designed this scheme. He said that in his office every second data related to people being treated under this scheme is reaching.

He said that during a Cabinet meeting the Prime Minister had asked his cabinet colleagues interact with the beneficiaries of the scheme and also collect information regarding any problems which they had faced and its advantages so that in future more people can avail benefits of the scheme and as part of that this program has been organised. During the program director of Ayushman Bharat Yojana Dr Prabhat Kumar, Mira Munda and others were present.

Renowned heart specialist of the city Dr Kunal Hazari said that if the heart problem is treated on time then no person can die due to it. He said that at the government level previously also there were provisions for treatment of the poor and many schemes were being Run for the BPL families however the Ayushman Bharat Yojana has helped a lot in treatment of the patient suffering from heart-related ailments as the treatment of the patients commences immediately as they reach the hospital and so far he under this scheme has treated 308 patients.

On the other hand, Dr Prabhat Kumar said that under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana so far in the state 3.25 lakh people have been benefited on whose treatment a sum of Rs 330 crores has been spent.
