All needed to work together to take Jharkhand forward: Guv

Ranchi: Governor Draupadi Murmu has called upon people from all sections of the society to work together so that the state can move forward.

Addressing a programme organised by the Brahamrishi Samaj she said that people needed to join hands together to set an example of social harmony and brotherhood and asked the members of the community to extend their support to establish peace and brotherhood.

She urged the people to work in the manner so that all sections of the society in the state feel safe and secure in the state and their rights are protected and all should work in the interest of the state and the country.

She said that India was a land of diversity where people hailing from different caste religion and culture live together and speak their own languages.

She said that Brahamrishi Samaj has a proud history and members from the community have made laudable contributions but to make milestones on need not be a member from one particular community as it is the personality and the values which matter the most.

The governor asked the members of the community to continue their good work for the society and in the interest of the nation. She said that with cooperation only the state and the country can develop and asked the members of the community to play a vital role in this regard.
