Empowerment of girls from tribal, dalit and minorities is priority for state government: Raghubar

Saraikela-Kharsawan: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said empowerment and skill development of the girls from tribals, dalits, backwards and minority communities was a priority for the state government.

Addressing the people after inaugurating the Nursing Skill College in Rajnagar he said three new medical colleges have started functioning in the state and construction of two others was on while in different districts the Sadar Hospital was being expanded for which there was a need to have skilled manpower which will create employment for the girls as the demand for the nurses will be in every hospital and colleges.

Mr Das said that in private hospitals also employment opportunities will be available. He said that soon nursing colleges in Ranchi and Sahebganj will be opened and asked the people to make a analysis of the works of the present government which constructed 5 medical colleges in state in five years while in 67 years there were only 3 medical colleges.

The Chief Minister said that youth who have received training at Kalyan Gurukul have received employment letters and they would be going to other states for jobs. He said that in 25 Kalyan Gurukuls in 12 trades the youth are being made skilled as per the need of the time.

He said that the government was ensuring 100 percent employment for the youth. Mr Das said that in the era of knowledge there was a need to walk with the changing times. He said that after the students complete their course they will get an opportunity to serve the people and asked they to encourage the patients through their behaviour as behaviour plays an important role in the treatment of the patients and hoped for the bright future of 120 girls who would be getting training in the college.

The Chief Minister said that for five years a permanent government was in power in the state due to which development gathered pace. He said scheme worth more than Rs 100 crore have been inaugurated or foundation laid in this district as the government is committed for development of all the districts.
