Daltonganj: A girl from the Palamu district has managed to win a sum of Rs 25 lakh in the game show Kaun Banega Crorepati hosted by Bollywood’s Mega Star Amitabh Bacchan.
Deepjyoti popularly known as DJ to her friends and families answered a total of 13 questions to take home a sum of Rs 25 lakh however as she got stuck at the 14th question she quit the game.
The girl said that it was the biggest day of her life as she got to sit in front of Mr Bacchan. She said that she knew answers to many questions but she forgot everything after sitting in front of Mr Bacchan.
However, the girl had her own story to tell as she informed that her father left her and her mother in 2005 after suffering huge losses in business and they forced to sell their shop to pay the loans.
To add to the misery of the family her elder brother was murdered in 2013. Deepjyoti is currently a student of second year of Geology at GLA College of NPU. She provides tuition to help her mother.
